EVANS, Alun. Wolverhampton Wanderers, Liverpool, Aston Villa, Walsall. (1967-1977). Son of the former West Brom left-half of the same name, Alun became Britainàs first £100,000 teenage footballer when he was sold by Wolves to Liverpool in 1968. Also played for Aston Villa and Walsall before trying his luck in the America and then Australia, quitting soccer in 1980. Now lives near Melbourne in Australia where he has worked as a used car salesman, delivery driver at a fish market, and painter and decorator. Returned to the UK to live in Lancashire, where has represented the county over-50's cricket team!(Played for Liverpool in the 1971 FA Cup final)

EVANS, Roy, CBE. Liverpool (1969-1973). Joined Liverpool straight from school and made his debut in 1970, however, he only made a total of eleven appearances in nine seasons. In 1974 at the age of 25, Roy became reserve team coach - a post at which he excelled earning him promotion to Assistant Manager at the end of the 1992/3 season. Took over as Manager in January 1994, following the departure of Graham Souness. Roy was awarded a CBE in 2005 for services to football. He currently acts as a co-commentator for live audio broadcasts of Liverpool matches on www.liverpoolfc.tv (Played for England Schools)
