Ovie Ejaria Bio/Profile
Talented midfielder Ovie Ejaria joined Liverpool in the summer of 2014 after spending the previous nine years with Arsenal - and is already on the fringes of the first team. A central midfield player with notable composure on the ball aligned to his power and pace, he started life at the Academy in the U18 squad for the 2014-15 season. Ovie's progress in Kirkby earned him several opportunities for the senior side during the 2016 pre-season and he produced a series of impressive displays. So much so, Ejaria was handed his first-team debut by Jürgen Klopp as a substitute in the EFL Cup third-round win at Derby County in the September. And the same competition provided his maiden start at that level the following month, when the Reds defeated Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield. On November 6, 2016, Ejaria was handed a first top-flight appearance for the club when he came on as a second-half substitute against Watford at home. via Liverpoolfc.com |
