Nathan Eccelston Bio

England youth international Nathan Eccleston is a fast striker currently learning his trade in the reserves.

Big things are expected of the Manchester-born forward, who scored on his second string debut against Bolton in 2007-08.

The campaign also brought memorable strikes against Wycombe Wanderers in the FA Youth Cup and Manchester United in the Lancashire FA Cup final.

Eccleston was promoted to Melwood full-time ahead of the 2009-10 season.

He made his Liverpool first-team debut as a substitute in a Carling Cup fourth round clash with Arsenal at the Emirates on October 28, 2009.

A first Barclays Premier League appearance followed three days later as Eccleston was handed a late run out in a defeat to Fulham at Craven Cottage.

In January 2010, Eccleston joined League One outfit Huddersfield Town on loan until March.
